My former CEO Till Schadde tweeted two days ago "@martinhering Any other news than the daily snowtape advertisement? And if it is #m00nfruit ;) Or any other account to follow 'you'?".
I answered him that I was quite busy at the moment. In fact I was working 12 hours a day the last couple of weeks on multiple ends. Snowtape is getting a huge success for me and my company. The last weeks were pretty overwhelming. For one there was the 1.1 release which was covered all over the globe and hit me like a tsunami. And on top there was a promotion on Mupromo for a competitive product which turned out to be a giant marketing campaign for Snowtape, which had an impact more than twice as big as the 1.1 coverage. I can't say how much I appreciate all the support I get from you guys. Thank you very much. So I was pretty busy answering your feature requests and requests for more radio stations. I hope I could reply everybody's mail now. What I learned from you guys is that you really like to have support for Windows Media. I think I underestimated this issue and may have communicated that Windows Media is not that important. In fact it is, as much as I didn't want it to be. I will honor this in the future.
In the meantime I was working on a minor update for Snowtape which will be available soon and on a bigger one which will hopefully be available at the end of this month. The bigger update will feature support for a new companion product, called SnowRemote. Yesterday I tweeted "Just submitted my first own iPhone app to the app store for review. Let's hope it won't take another month before it's available.". That's pretty much it. There is currently no other information available besides this new icon. I will update the website with more info as soon as I get feedback from Apple if SnowRemote will make it into the AppStore. These days you never know how long it will take. I will make some screenshots available on my flickr account in advance.
There will also be some news related to the distribution of Snowtape, but I save this for another day.
