SnowRemote 1.0 and Snowtape 1.2 Available

Vemedio finally made it through the App Store review process and today can present SnowRemote 1.0. SnowRemote is the iPhone and iPod Touch companion app for Snowtape.

Stay on the couch and listen to your favorite internet radio. See what's currently playing and start and stop recordings on-the-go. SnowRemote finds any Snowtape wirelessly within your local home network. Scroll super-fast through hundreds of radio stations. Mark any station as favorite. Select from a variety of genres and countries or search by keywords. It displays corresponding album artwork for the playing song or alternativly displays a nice animation. The built-in playback controller allows you to pause and restart playback of the current playing station and let's you remotely change the audio volume. With a tap on the record button Snowtape instantly starts recording the program. SnowRemote is available from the iTunes App Store for $0.99.

And with SnowRemote also comes a brand new version of Snowtape. The new version of Snowtape features an improved search algorithm for album artwork, a better handling of deleted items and a search for stations by country. There are now over 1000 high quality radio stations available.

Snowtape is available in English, French, German, Japanese and Italian. You can find the complete list of changes in the release notes as usual. I hope you like it and make sure you update today! This can be done via the integrated update mechanism or directly from the Snowtape website.
