More Radio Stations for Snowtape

A lot of people ask me about how they can get more radio stations into Snowtape. And I always had to say that they need to find correct import URLs or playlist files. But let's face it, finding URLs that actually work is hard if not impossible for the most. So I knew, I had to come up with something better.

And this is what I want to announce today. In the last few weeks RadioURL.com was crawling the internet for radio stations that are compatible with Snowtape. Today I make these radio stations available for everybody with the easy of the RadioURL.com technology. All you have to do is use the menu on the Snowtape website and click on "Stations". If you do that you get a list of local stations. You can also use the search field to enter any keyword to find the right station for you. Click on the title or on "TUNE IN" and you're done. Snowtape will import the station to your local database and starts playing immediately.

Search results are currently sorted after their Google ranking. This will change in the future as soon as I have enough click data to create my own ranking.

The directory already contains over 4000 stations. However only 300 are currently available. Others will follow every day. So make sure to check back often. If you have a radio station you want to be shown in the listing, use the Snowtape website contact formular or write a comment.
